Transforming the Crown: African, Asian and Caribbean Artists in Britain

At The Caribbean Cultural Center, she was curator of the exhibition Transforming the Crown: African, Asian and Caribbean Artists in Britain, 1966-1996, and developed its accompanying public programs and major catalogue. As Project Director for the multi-venue international exhibition Transforming the Crown, supervised a project staff of eight over a three-year period. Coordinated video documentation of all Center lectures, concerts, conferences, panel discussions and receptions. Devised and implemented a system for cataloging the Center’s extensive research library of materials (book, journals, videos, audio materials) related to the manifestations of African-based traditions throughout the world.
