Art of the African Diaspora, including specialization in African American Art (with special emphasis on photographer Arthur P. Bedou, sculptor and printmaker Elizabeth Catlett, and painter, printmaker and sculptor John T. Scott), Black British Art, American Art, Art and Feminist Theorym, African American Artists in Cartooning and Animation, Modern & Contemporary Art, British Art (18th century through the present), with emphasis on William Hogarth as well as British artists of African, Asian and Caribbean descent, and Curatorial Studies.
