The National Science Foundation’s Interdisciplinary Behavioral and Social Science Research competition sponsors the conduct of interdisciplinary research by teams of investigators in the social or behavioral sciences. The IBSS competition recommends researchers to submit proposals for research in one of the three topics: Population Change; Sources and Consequences of Disparities; and Technology, New Media and Social Networks. IBSS proposal are due on December 1, 2015 by 5 PM (proposer’s local time) via Fastlane or Grants.gov.
Proposals to the U.S. Department of Energy Early Career program are due November 19. The DOE Office of Science supports:
- Advanced Scientific Computing Research (ASCR);
- Biological and Environmental Research (BER);
- Basic Energy Sciences (BES),
- Fusion Energy Sciences (FES);
- High Energy Physics (HEP), and
- Nuclear Physics (NP).
