A Hidden Treasure: The Art of Frank Wyley

Served as departmental Director and Curator of the prominent collection of 19th and 20th century African American and traditional African art held by the Center, the nation’s largest independent archives specializing in the history of African Americans and other ethnic groups. As Curator, responsibilities included the development of exhibitions and accompanying publications and public programs, overseeing acquisitions and facilitating loan and reproduction requests. Exhibition Curator of  A Hidden Treasure: The Art of Frank Wyley, Selections from the Aaron Douglas Collection,Martin Payton: Twenty Years of Sculpture and Treasures from The Amistad Research Center (presented at The Ogden Museum of Southern Art; co-curated with Ogden Museum Curator David Houston).
