Faculty from Biology and Chemistry & Biochemistry collaborated on the breakout session entitle, “Engineering success of diverse students through personalized and interactive curriculum.” Talks were presented that examined pedagogical approaches in the biology and chemistry curriculums involving personalization of key curricular pieces and those utilized to target students’ cognitive development as scientific thinkers. Implementation and outcomes of each approach were also presented.
