The John and Polly Sparks Foundation has partnered with the American Psychological Foundation (APF) to support early career psychologists with the John and Polly Sparks Early Career Grant for Psychologists Investigating Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED). This program seeks to fund psychologists conducting research in the area of early intervention and treatment for serious emotional disturbance in children.
The goal of the program is to empower early career psychologists to develop evidence-based research and programs that could provide models for broad-based applications across the country.
Two grants of up to $17,000 will be awarded in 2017.
