The American Chemical Society Petroleum Research Fund is soliciting proposals to support scientists and engineers at the beginning of their research careers at non-doctoral programs which include opportunities for undergraduate students to gain experience in advanced research activities to better prepare them for graduate studies or employment. Undergraduate New Investigator (UNI) grants should be viewed as seed money for generating preliminary results which can be used to apply for additional funding from other funding sources. Undergraduate students working on projects will be provided a stipend supported through the grant.
The proposal amount is $55,000 over two years.
The deadline to submit proposals is March 17, 2017 by 5:00PM Eastern Standard Time.
